 Automatic presses take the basic manual variation into a new dimension.
With the head being shut by using compressed air, operators achieve very fast production rates.
An automatic head safety guard prevents peoples's hands becoming trapped in the closing head, and another safety feature on the iron rest stops the head of the buck from being closed until the iron is in place on it's rest, preventing the iron from becoming trapped.
There are two methods for closing the head of the press, either two push button closing or by using foot pedals.
With each method, a pressure regulator can be used to automatically adjust the closing pressure of the head onto the buck.
