Don't forget to budget for the all-important ancillary costs, essentially broken down into 3 areas; additional location costs, your electricity supply and installation.

Added Location Expenses

These will become an expensive issue if an inappropriate location is chosen, and this is why Renzacci are happy to help you in evaluating your proposed premises.

For example, for a shop to be fitted in a cellar location will require the fitting of extraction equipment or, if a shop is above a cellar or above the ground floor, you will need to contract a builder to lay down a base and concrete plinth.

Similarly, should it be necessary to install your equipment over several floors, this increases the pipework and installation cost and may sometimes require a builder.

3-Phase Electricity Supply

Try to ensure your proposed location has this installed already. If not, again, you must budget approximately £1000-£2000 pounds for a supply to be installed, and you should obtain a quote from your local electricity supplier or we can apply for you.  If you are looking at taking out a lease on a new shop or purchasing the freehold, it is always a good idea to get a quote to install a new three phase supply in the premises if there is not already a suitable one present prior to signing.

Delivery & Installation

Delivery and installation of your machinery, for a typical new outlet, costs anywhere from £2500 to £6000, depending on the location, the amount and type of equipment to be fitted and ease of access. Any possible building work adds to your costs as well, as mentioned above.

For complete peace of mind, Renzacci carry out Full Site Surveys reporting in detail any necessary work required from your builder and detailing the installation procedure for your chosen premises, whether the installation is contracted to us or elsewhere. This report will save you money, minimizing nasty surprises and reducing the installation cost.
